Andrew Firger

Board Member

Andrew Firger joined the Board of East Boston Social Centers in June 2022. He has spent the last decade of his career in philanthropy, pursuing a passion for global health, social justice, and improving access to healthcare and treatment. He is currently the Director of Development for Ophthalmology at Mass Eye and Ear, where he raises funds in support of the research and education priorities of scientists and faculty of Mass Eye and Ear and the Harvard Department of Ophthalmology. Andrew aims to help EBSC leadership and staff further engage with new and existing donors, alumni, and East Boston community businesses to ensure that EBSC’s mission will thrive for years to come. Andrew moved to East Boston in 2018 and currently resides with his wife and daughter in Orient Heights.
