Pillars of STEAM
Ages 10 - 14
Pillars of STEAM provides middle schoolers an opportunity to play, grow, and learn about careers within the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Students explore a new career each week and work through hands-on activities related to each career.
The goals of Pillars of STEAM are to introduce middle schoolers to a variety of careers that exist in these fields and to provide a safe space to learn, play, and socialize.
Eastie Achievers
Ages 15 - 19
Eastie Achievers provides high schoolers an opportunity to learn, grow, and gain leadership experience within the East Boston community. Eastie Achievers take part in weekly group meetings focused on personal growth and developing job skills while also engaging in service work at various early childcare sites connected to East Boston Social Centers.
The goals of Eastie Achievers are to equip teens with career and life skills, introduce them to the early education field, and provide them with meaningful experiences with children and staff at early childcare sites.
