What We Need
East Boston Social Centers, Inc. is currently seeking 2 motivated individuals for position of Early Learning Lead Teacher. Reporting to the programs Site Coordinator, general responsibilities include the supervision of a group of 10-13 preschool children. East Boston Social Centers, Inc. is looking for someone with a motivation to work with children and charisma to effectively promote the East Boston Social Centers, Inc. culture.

Job Duties
The responsibilities of the Early Learning Lead Teacher, include but are not limited to:
Supervise and support a small group of children while interacting in a positive way as to provide a safe, fun, and nurturing environment
Engage in a way that meets the individual needs of all children
Develop and implement an age appropriate curriculum
Accurately, and in a timely manner, complete all classroom paperwork
Effectively and appropriately communicate with coworkers and families
Attend staff meetings and professional development as notified (virtually)
Additional Responsibilities as deemed necessary by the program Site Coordinator
Job Requirements
The successful candidate will be a detailed-oriented self-starter with strong leadership, organizational management, and communication skills. Familiarity with youth development is highly desired.
MUST be MA EEC Lead Teacher Certified
AA or higher; coursework in education, social or human services, child development, or related field is desirable
Bilingual/Multilingual (strongly preferred)
Experience working with diverse populations (strongly preferred)
Excellent organizational and coordination skills
Must complete Department of Early Education and Care’s Background Record Checks (i.e. CORI, SORI, DCF, etc.)
Ability to be assigned Monday-Friday, full-time (hours may vary, be flexible)
