John Roch

Business Manager

John was born in Maryland and grew up in upstate New York until 10 years old, then moved to southern New Jersey. He went to the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester and stayed in Massachusetts since then – so he has been a resident of Mass. for about 50 years. With his wife Paula Renaud, a Special Education teacher, he has 2 children, Elizabeth, age 25, and Kristian, age 27. He majored in American History in college and started working for nonprofit human service organizations. He went back to graduate school part-time and got an MBA from UMass Boston in 1988. He has worked as a Business Manager, then CFO since 1988. He has also been a member of the Town of Stoughton Finance Committee for the past 7 years and the Stoughton Town Meeting for the past 20 years. He’s worked with EBSC Since April 2009. He hopes that by devoting his working life to various non-profit human service agencies, he makes a contribution to the betterment of our society. He started a coed adult Softball League in Boston 35 years ago and still runs it, coaches a team, and plays in the games. His main hobbies are watercolor painting and gardening and is a big fan of Boston sports teams.
