A lifelong East Boston resident and son of immigrant parents, Fabricio has participated in local community programs from a very young age. Some of the most impactful experiences from his childhood and early adolescence came from being a part of the East Boston Social Centers. Attending the Jeffries Point Child Care Center, the after-school program at Central Square, and the playschool/S.T.E.P.S summer programs the Social Centers was an integral part of growing up. The people and programming at the Social Centers provided opportunities to develop life skills and have experiences that weren’t easily accessible otherwise. His time there contributed greatly to him growing into a joyful and thriving person.
